- Cryogenic PRV
Falcon Flow Control Cryogenic Pressure Relief Valve
A safety-critical valve engineered for automatic pressure relief in cryogenic gas and liquid systems, ensuring reliable performance at temperatures down to -196°C.
Full Description
The Falcon Flow Control Cryogenic Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) is designed to provide overpressure protection in cryogenic storage, transport, and process systems. These valves automatically open at pre-set pressure limits to safely vent excess pressure and prevent damage or catastrophic failure in tanks, pipelines, or cold boxes.
Built for cryogenic media such as LNG, liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, CO₂, and hydrogen, the valve is precision-machined with special low-temperature compatible materials and incorporates an extended bonnet to isolate the operating mechanism from sub-zero temperatures. The valve ensures a rapid response to pressure build-up, followed by reseating for tight shut-off once pressure normalizes.
Available with spring-loaded or pilot-operated mechanisms, Falcon’s PRVs ensure safety compliance with international standards in cryogenic installations.
