Falcon Flow Control Floating Ball Valve

Compact, economical ball valve with a free-floating ball design ideal for low to medium pressure applications.

Falcon Flow Control Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valve

Heavy-duty ball valve with a supported ball shaft for high-pressure, large-diameter pipeline applications.

Full Description

The Falcon Floating Ball Valve features a simple yet robust design in which the ball is held in place by two valve seats and is free to move slightly under pressure, creating a tight seal. Designed for general-purpose applications across water, oil, gas, and chemical systems, this valve type is ideal for shutoff and isolation duties where moderate torque and minimal leakage are required. The seat loading increases with line pressure, offering excellent sealing performance and lower initial cost compared to trunnion designs.

Offered in a variety of body materials, seat options, and end connections, Falcon’s floating ball valves are suitable for both manual and automated service.

Full Description

The Falcon Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valve is engineered for demanding pipeline applications that require maximum performance, long-term sealing, and low torque operation. The ball is anchored at the top and bottom (trunnions) and remains stationary under pressure while the seats move toward the ball for sealing. This design minimizes wear, supports large valve sizes and pressure ratings, and ensures reliable double-block-and-bleed (DBB) performance.

Optimized for the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors, this valve is fully compliant with API 6D, ASME B16.34, and available with fire-safe and fugitive emission features. Falcon’s trunnion valves can be custom-automated and are available in side-entry, top-entry, or fully welded body designs.
